Dustin: "That'd be cool!" He nodded. "It's weird, how different our world's are. Even trees are different. But I think the biggest difference is the sky. It's so cool!"

Jori: "You told me your sky was like the roof of a tavern? And Dana told me your light comes from some sort of jewel? I still don't understand that."

Dustin: "Really, we don't have a sky. Since we're beneath the surface, it's kind of impossible. Yes, the main source of light comes from a gem called lumino ore. The slugs give off the rest. The caverns sorta run on their energy- take out enough slugs or ghoul too many, the caverns darkens and dies."

OOC I've been watching Slugterra for more than a year and I'm just now getting that...

Dustin: He laughed ad shook his head. "Not exactly. The slugs have magic. It's pretty much this- wherever slugs are, there's light magic and the cavern is alive. Where they aren't, it's pretty much a dead zone." He shrugged. "Sorry if I'm bad at explaining this, I usually don't. I've never been to school in the surface /or/ Slugterra."

OOC WHY am I up at 4:00 AM? Remind me of this when I'm complaining of being tired later XD

Jori: "huh, so you don't have pounds (British money)?"

OOC: in English today we answered Santa letters from the first graders. One I answered said that he would leave cookies, reindeer treats, magic, cents, and dollars for Santa! So I wrote that Santa didn't need his money because the reindeer mistake dollars as reindeer treats and get sick!

And one my friend answered said he wanted checkers, chess and pie! So cute!
