OOC: I think that's because no one expects him to actually do anything because he keeps failing.

Gordon: he looked sadly up at Britannia. He felt so guilty that they didn't do anything to stop them from taking Hope.

OOC: lol, that pretty much describes every situation thrown at him. He so does not have the skills to take over the world.

Gordon: "We should have been able to do something." He realized that his dad was still on the strange communication device and waved Britannia over. "Come meet my dad."

Thora: she had Eric come over and she introduced him to Eric.

Thor: he approved of Eric.

Eric: he smiled, relieved that the god of thunder liked him.

Gordon: "We should have been able to do something." He realized that his dad was still on the strange communication device and waved Britannia over. "Come meet my dad."

Thora: she had Eric come over and she introduced him to Eric.

Thor: he approved of Eric.

Eric: he smiled, relieved that the god of thunder liked him.

Britannia: She was nervous, but she didn't show it as she walked over with Gordon. She reminded herself to smile.

Meanwhile...

Kari: Kari sat off to the side with Richard, hugging him tightly. She hadn't seen something this scary in a long time.

Richard: "It's okay." he said. It bothered him to see Kari upset.

Kari: "I just feel so bad for her because she didn't do anything wrong."

Britannia: She was nervous, but she didn't show it as she walked over with Gordon. She reminded herself to smile.

Gordon: he wrapped his arm around her waist. "Father, this is Britannia, the girl I told you about."

Thor: he smiled. "My little warrior finally has a girl. Congratulations. She reminds me of Sif."

Gordon: "She is like her a lot. She is as active as my sister and I."

Thor: his eyebrows raised. "Wow. That's almost astounding." He smiled at Britannia. "Welcome to the family, madam. Gordon would be happy to bring you to Asgard at some point."

Gordon: he beamed and blushed. "Father, that is serious,"

Thor: "I know, but I approve. That normally doesn't happen. I expect you to treat her well."

Gordon: "Of corse, honorable father."

Alana: She stayed next to Dana, still shocked as to what just happened.
