Cameras you take to Disney

If I am going for the day I will probably just take one dslr and a lens or two depending on what park and what I feel like. If I was going to stay a few days I would definately pretty much bring everything- including my P&S which is a Pentax W30 that is waterproof I like for pools- water parks- rainy days and such. For me 1/2 the fun is taking pictures so I don't want to wish I had brought something.

And I always take a good camera to Character Dining BTW- the little ones interacting with the characters (usually princesses in my girls case) is too cute to miss.

Well, I considering I haven't been to Disney in almost 8 years, here is what I will bring not what I have brought....

For vacations only I will use my Nikon D40. I used to bring my D50 on vacations, but I sold it and went with a smaller camera. It's easier to handle and gives me the same results, if not better, then the D50. I leave my D80 at home because it's only for weddings and other photo shoots and I would die if something happened to it! Plus, it's too big to carry around.I'm not the kind of person to carry my camera in a bag and take it out only when I need it. I'll carry it on my shoulder or around my neck. I will have a lightweight backpack and if I need to put my camera up I'll put it in there.

I would love to use my 50mm lens but it isn't made for the D40 I will probably end up with a newer lens for my D40 by the time I go in September.

I will also bring my Mini DV Camcorder. Even if I don't ever watch it again, I will regret not bringing it.
