What type of camera do you bring with you into the parks? We have a really nice digital SLR that would take some awesome pics but will it be safe? Can we put it in a backpack and take it on the rides with us or will we have to leave our backpacks off of the rides? I will just take a less expensive camera with us if we will have to risk leaving it out of our possession at any time.

If you can take backpacks on with you, is there a size restriction? Obviously we wont be walking around with a huge pack but is a standard size backpack ok?

We've gone 3 times. and my dad has a really expensive camera, and HUGE lenze that is worth more than the camera, and he carries it all around the park, and on the rides he has a camera bag to put it in. You'll be fine bringing it. I once took a full sized stuffef full backpac on all the rides and all around the park. No problems at all cept for me having to get stuck with everyone else's things since their bags were too small. hah, :cutie:

I have a Canon 50D...a big DSLR camera. I take it with me on rides and have never had a problem.

I take my Cannon SLR on the rides as well. To me it's worth the hassle of the bulk and weight of it to have fabulous pictures.

I also have a Cannon XSI and it's pretty bulky and pricey but I am carrying in my backpack and will have the camera in there. I am bringing a large plastic bag to put over it when I'm not using it in the bag just in case we get wet it won't hurt the camera.
