Getting ready to go to Disney for the first time in a few months...need some advice:

What do most of you do with your cameras on water rides??

Do you use the lockers that are available on the grounds??

Same with backpacks...what do you do with them when you are on a ride?

Thanks in advance for your advice..

Our camera is in a waterproof camera bag. In addition, we usually stick the camera in a ziplock bag in case the camera bag leaks. We generally try to plan all the water rides so that we are not carrying much at the time anyways.

We always keep our camera inside our camera bag (which is waterproof) and then inside of our backpack. The only water ride that I have never taken our backpack on is Kali River Rapids. I have yet to find a way to avoid getting wet on that one. What I usually do with our backpack when we go on Splash Mountain is take one of the rain ponchos and put the backpack inside of it then I keep it on the floor between my feet.

I was told that there is a place on Kali Rapids that you can put your bag so that it doesn't get wet. I was thinking of putting cameras in a ziploc bag and carrying a few "wal-mart" bags to put the bag in and tie up when on wet rides to that the bag avoids getting too wet.

I am interested in hearing other encounters with the wet rides.
Thanks.

The center of the boat on Kali is a circle with a lid, the inside is big enough for several folks to place valuables that cannot get wet. On Splash Mtn I had my camera in my sling pack, in front of me, we didn't get wet enough for it to be a problem. We did not even bring the camera to Blizzard Beach, though I had planned on buying a disposable waterproof camera before we went just for that day, I never did--wish I had--Next time!
