Camera Suggestion Help

Hello all!!

I am headed out to Disney/Universal next week, and I am trying to decide on a point and shoot digital camera.

I am a big fan of Canon, and they have never done me wrong in the past, as such I was looking at the ELPH 300 HS. I like the tilt shift mode and the 12.1 megapixels is more than enough for my purposes, as is the 5X optical zoom.

I have done research and I can't seem to find much on the shutter lag of this model. Does anyone have this camera who could give me some insight?

Additionally, I am open to any and all reccomedations about other possible cameras.

I've not used that particular camera, but shutter lag with point and shoots isn't nearly as much of problem as it used to be. With a lot of p&s cameras today it's not really noticable.
