Hi guys, I have a bit of an unusual question here!
I'm visiting the states for what feels like my thousandth time this June, and am staying for 2 months.
I love to document my travelling and have a passion for photography and cameras.
So naturally, they go away with me whenever I travel!
I've got my Canon 5D Mk II, my Olympus Pen EPL-2, my Canon S95 and my Sony Camcorder (most recent addition!)
However, I'm doing a 16 day trip to WDW with my great friend during those 2 months, not to mention loads of trips to Disneyland, and the 2 of us are making our first trip to WDW waterparks!
I'm trying to document my 2 months better than ever, by filming each day and taking as many photos of us as possible, etc.
So now I'm considering waterproof options, as I want to be able to have my camera on wet rides, at the waterpark, in the pools, etc.
But I feel like I'm going insane by trying to add a waterproof camera to my haul! On the other hand, I've looked in to waterproof housings for my S95 and I'm just not sure how comfortable I feel throwing a $500 camera in to the water when it's not waterproof itself!
(Not to mention, I'd like to be able to hear sound and I know some housings block out recording audio!)
So basically I feel like I'm growing overwhelmed by camera options! To be honest, when I travel it's basically clothes, shoes and technology
And I've considered leaving behind my 5D (which I can't bear to do - too many great photo opportunities!) and I've considered leaving behind my Olympus as well, but I love the great quality and portability of it when I don't want to lug my DSLR.
It's not so much about how much space the cameras take up - more just that I end up panicky over which cameras to take for which days and which situations!!! (i.e. a day where we do lots of water rides but where I also want my Mirrorless with me, etc)
Sorry for all the rambling here guys - but what would you all do??!
Should I look in to the cheaper range of waterproof cameras, and add #5 to my bundle, or should I be focusing on a casing? (which I'm rather nervous about!)
TIA
