This is the one I have been looking at. Still in two minds! Would you mind letting me know how you get on with it once you get to try it?
Well it arrived yesterday but I had to wait until quite late in the evening to set it up, thanks to a letter presented to me at 5 pm announcing that the school had a disco on at 5.30

I just can't for these 11th hour communications!
Anyway, this is my interim review on what I have seen so far.
Quick and easy set up - batteries that come with it are rechargables but are precharged. I did note that they didn't have much life in them though so had to charge them overnight again but they were running fine today so no issues there.
Before it arrived I downloaded the user manual, as I had read that it doesn't come with one, however it did come with a quick start guide/leaflet which was more than adequate. I did a quick test run around the house. Nothing and no-onme really to film, but just wanted to see it was working okay. Great clarity so very happy there. It did however have the digital humming/hissing noise which was probably more noticable because I filmed in the dead quiet of the night. I knew that I would need to load the firmware 106 to address that issue anyway, so I downloaded that. Mobile broadband - painfully slow! Took over 2 hours.

Imagine my surprise when I saw that the file was only 62mb?!

Anyway, that went onto the SD card which went into the camera and it was a half minute process to transfer it to the camera.
School sports day today so I left for work armed with my new little toy
I wasn't there too long so it was just a few fairly short clips but I have put them onto the laptop and they are pretty good. Especially considering the wind was howling! I don't know if it was just the direction it was coming from but I was really surprised that it wasn't an issue when I played the videos back.
All in all I am really pleased with this. It is perfect for my purposes. I wanted something lightweight and small, wanted SD cards so that I have the option of just carrying spares if I dont always feel like or have time to transfer the clips to PC. I will probably get one of the KLIC 8000 batteries. I see you can get the battery and charger for around £10 including delivery so it will be nice to have a spare.
Obviously I haven't had the opportunity to test this out in a variety of situations so I am sure other comments will follow, but feel free if you want any more specific info.
