Camera for Disney

Hi DISers! My family and I are going to WDW in December. The lights at night are absolutely amazing, and I want to be able to capture them with my camera. My current camera takes horrible pictures at night. It's always blurry and just really bad quality.

We would like to buy a new camera before our trip that will take good pictures at night. I am looking for something that is small and compact. Anyone have any good recommendations for one?

It's probably not the camera but taking night photos you need the camera steady as the shutter stays open longer to capture light, you need to put your camera on a flat solid surface or tripod and this should help to reduce the blur tines of the photos. Failing that you need to play about with the settings to get better photos

I agree on a tripod or similar device to steady your camera ...

I found an adapter that screws onto a water bottle that has the camera screw and is adjustable for tilt and angles... Neat idea, very small.... Novel idea..!
