You might want to look at Think Tank Photo. They have a line called the Urban Disguise that's getting good reviews.

I live on the poor side of town, with only a $4 Million home. ;) It barely fits a Canon 30D with lens, but I only use it that way while traveling.
Once I get to my destination I never put the camera away
, so I keep a lens or two in the bag while in the parks.

I really like the loops on the sides of the "homes", great for attaching all kinds of accessories.

just wondering what you do on wet or wild rides with it...i want to get something as small as i can when i get whatever 30+d upgrade i get but don't really need much more room than a lens /body and maybe another lens since hub will likely have the rest with him( it's getting hard to wrestle my camera out of his grubby little paws already:lmao:, i've created a monster!:rotfl: )

On wild rides I wrap the camera strap around my wrist (twice) and hold it by the lens. My SLRs have been on every ride WDW has except Mission Ralph, no problems. For wet rides I carry a small waterproof bag (from REI) and stash everything in it.

We rarely go on Kali River, where we need the dry bag. On Splash Mtn I hide the camera under the dry area in front just before we get to the wet section. Ok, once I was a little late and the filter got somewhat wet... no damage. ;)

I am new to the SLR world and trying to learn and improve my photography. I have an canon rebel xti. When i got that i bought a bag that fits it and maybe a lense, the charger and cards. Nothing special. I was being cheap too, and didn't want to spend on a big bag. Then I ordered two Tamron lenses off amazon and recieve a free bag with them. It is basically the same size as the other. Now to carry all my lenses and my rebel, plus my point and shoot I have to carry 2 bags, or 3 if I don't put my point and shoot in the bigger ones. I see I can buy a nice canon back pack for around 35 bucks off amazon. I hate that I spent 25 on my first one though. Yes I am cheap for stupid reasons sometimes. Would you buy the bigger back pack? I really liek the other ones I've seen, but can't justify spending 60 to 125 on those at this point and time. I am still so new to this. I guess I could try to sell my smaller bags on ebay. I would like some input. Those that have slr's, what do you use?

I would personally sell on smaller bag - and keep one and also get a larger one.

There will be times you will need to carry all of your stuff and times you will only want to carry your camera and one or two lenses.

I have 2 bags... but I also have 2 cameras.:confused3

My only advice is to get one that is slightly bigger than you think you'll need. It has been less than 2 years since I switched from PnS and I'm on my 3rd bag ;) Tamrac Adventure 7 :thumbsup2 but I should've listen to Kyle and gotten the bigger Adventure 9.

i have the canon one. love it as it holds a ton( there was another thread and i said everything i keep in it) and it is great for keeping everything together but it weighs a ton loaded( like so heavy husband can carry but complains, i can barely lift it but i am a weakling). sooo i would rather lug a smaller bag unless i need all my stuff . presently usually i am taking my canon bag and leaving it in the car, carrying a small messenger type camcorder bag that holds rebel xt body and 70-200 lens plus i can cram in 50mm and 100 lenses ( top doesn't shut all the way but it latches) then get stuff out of the car if i need something else but am considering one of the crumpler million dollar homes or a lowepro holster, not sure which. i have 5 bags of assorted sizes and i have to say the canon is the best value and most useful, just to heavy for me loaded up

I have a large rolling backpack,
holds 1 dslr with my 28-75 2.8 lensmounted,
1 80-200 2.8 lens,
1 28-300 lens
1 18-70 lens
2 flashes,
2 gary fong lightspheres,
all my cords,cables, battery chargers...

1 20 gig portable storage unit,
1 30 gig portable storage unit..,
manuals etc.

my vest holds all my batteries memory cards, flashlights, press credentials..minipod, microfiber lens cloths, lens cleaning fluid...etc...

when I get to my location for the day I grab whatever lenses I plan on using, put those in the pockets of the vest, put on the vest, grab the camera and I'm good for the day...

can't be bothered switching bags based on what I think I might need, plus this way f I guess wrong, my other stuff is as near as the car, not all the way back at home..

Are there any crumpler bags that are waist packs? Are there any that have a loop to attach to a belt? TIA!

have you checked out the crumpler site?
it says that the Brazillion dollar home has a waist belt--bigger bag though.
the bundle also has a belt loop.

i love my crumpler..i had many questions before i bought it and the customer service was awesome--my emails were answered in good time!
i would email then and just inquire if it has the feature you need!

I took my laptop with me on the most recent trip and was using the photopass site to look at pictures each night. I had the numbers for my parents' and my sister's cards and had claimed them all.

I was surprised on the last day when I went to the photo center that, even though the three cards had been linked on line, they weren't linked on the in-park computers. I had to call everyone to get them to read their numbers to me over the cell phone again.

I wasn't surprised by this, but I also lost the couple of pictures I had taken the time to add borders and characters to.

(I wanted to buy the CD in the park to get the 3 free 5x7 pictures with the package.)

Hi Everyone!
First I want to thank everyone for all of the great ideal's I have found on this board. We went on our 3rd trip to Disney in June. While there we used the PhotoPass service. We loved all the pictures so we purchased it. My problem is that our photo center refuses to make prints for us! I printed off a copy of what I thought was the copyright release but the lady at the counter said that was not the correct document. (It is titled: Photo Image CD Sale Agreement) I sent an email to Disney asking them what I needed and I think they misunderstood my request because they ask me to contact their legal department about the "print" I wanted a copyright for. Could anyone here please point me in the right direction with this? Thanks so very much.

from the photo pass site - I was there looking something else up

Disney's PhotoCD

Disney's PhotoCD comes with a limited copyright release agreement which grants permission to reproduce the photos on the disk for personal use only. The copyright agreement is stored on the CD itself and is located in the main directory. Instructions on how to access this file are located on the back of the CD case. You must present this agreement to your photo retailer when you create prints of your Disney's PhotoPass photos.

That said I've never had to present the agreement at Costco or CVS.

I only ever showed the paper that came with cd which is what you had. Only time I was ever flagged to show it was BBB pics.

I have ordered photo's from my photopass cd from shutterfly with no problems at all.

valerie1030 - Ritz Camera also required a copy of the release form. They told me to follow directions on Photopass cd case and to select the agreement as an image to print while I was selecting photos to print. Ritz said it always needs to view that release but will not print it out nor charge me for it.

It helps if you tell the place before you start making your prints. They may also only need to view it and not charge you for the image. Hope this helps.

I just posted this in another forum not realizing there was a photo one...oops! :rolleyes1

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on a bag to use in the park. I have a camera that I can't find a case/bag for:
http://www.amazon.com/Olympus-20-Dat.../dp/B00004TQ0T

So, a functional bag/purse that might fit this camera is what I'm looking for. I'm just nervous about straps digging into my neck at the end of the day.

Thanks for any and all suggestions!!

I don't know exactly what type of bag you're looking for or prefer, but I recently purchased this one for my DSLR and LOVE IT!!!! :thumbsup2

It's a Slingshot 100 AW. It holds a camera with lens and two add'l lenses plus accessories and has an all-weather case. Look for it on lowepro's website.
