Now, what we need it is a system to transfer the unwanted pins to deserving recipients!

how DOES that occur? I have a friend that definitely collects Donalds, but not the breakable stuff. I would love to get the pin for her but ... it'll never happen at WDW.

I think we need a database someting like the organ donor setup.

You buy a sculpture and you don't want the pin. You put the pin in the data base.

Someone else wants the pin, but doesn't want the sculpture, they look in the data base, and voila -- a match made in heaven......well maybe in WDW.
