Please help! I'll be taking my family to WDW in December and am looking to buy a good digital camcorder in the $500 price range or less. One thing very important to me is to be able to take good night video of the fireworks, shows, parks, etc. Can someone give me some recomendations of a good camcorder that takes good night video?

Thank you so much in advance!

I really can't advise you about this topic. I think, though, that if I move this over to our community board you will get lots of great advice and information.

most camcorder have a bunch of preset exposure. Go to the user menu, choose "Exposure" (or sometimes it's called "Mode") and choose "Night Mode" (instead of "Auto) or something to that effect (check your manual for that). You'll get really nice colourful Spectromagic/Wishes recordings.

For sure Canon and Sony have this mode.

Don't forget to set it back to "Auto" for daytime shots.
