Well good for you, it doesn't bother YOU but you can bet that just as FairyCat said it does bother OTHERS. I can get a migraine in seconds from someone using a flash, I can get a migraine from someone with those flashy light toys and yes, I've even had a migraine induced from someone's "little" lcd screen. IF your camera has NO lights visible on it then please use it! But do not expect me to remain silent if I feel a migraine coming on, I will for sure turn around and say something to whomever is using any type of lighted camera/video equipment. And if you think my attempt at avoiding a migraine is "ridiculously nit picky" you've obviously NEVER had a migraine and attempted to leave a dark ride and reenter the daylight, it's enough to bring me to my knees.
And to clarify, some rides DO say no flash or video photography. Be sure to use your camera on rides that do not specify that please.[/QUOTE]
well dont you think it is rude of you to say something considering EVERYONE paid their entry to the park and there is no rules against it? you know what bothers me? people that wear heavy perfume, people who talk so loud you can hear them from the ride car in the back, people who hmmm, OH yeah complain about someone using a camera. but im not gonna say they shouldnt. there are tons of people wearing perfume so strong i get headaches but i wont say anything to them or that they cant. not my choice and there is no rule against it. as i said, i wouldnt use a flash. but there is nothing wrong with a little lcd screen. and about your migraine claim, ohhhh lady, boy can i tell you, the headaches and photosensitivity i have had from my adenoma are WAYYY worse than a migraine, with the exception i dont get nauseous. my mom has regular migraines and has to be on meds for them. you can not "avoid" a migraine, and to CLARIFY for you, a migraine will not be caused by flashing lights. a headache maybe, not a migraine though. and by the way, there are lots of BRIGHT and neon, AND flashing lights IN the rides. people like you just like to "make the rules" i think, to your likings. however if its not a rule at the park its not ur choice. if you are getting headaches from a little lcd screen though, then you would be getting them from just the rides as well. flash photography can hurt your eyes in the dark. a little screen that doesnt flash, no. it is a little distracting from the ride, maybe if its right in your face, but it is infront of the person using it and there is no reason to say anything if its not against the rules. sorry if i like happy memories to hold on to
