camcorder???

I was wondering the same thing as the OP...thinking about buying a camcorder for my Oct. trip but not sure which one to buy

I have a DVD player, but my PC can't burn DVD's, only CD's.

Any ideas for a good, (stress point) Easy to use, camcorder?

Can you put those mini-dvd's inside a regular DVD player and view them??

For anyone thats thinking of buying a camcorder. i would recommend http://www.camcorderinfo.com which reviews them. gives you lots of good info and pictures of them

Yes you can put the mini dvd's into a stand-a-lone player once the disc has been finalized (you need to unfinalize when you want to use again)

but it's more fun to make a home movie on the PC...IMO :teeth :

Thanks for the info Steve! I thought they would likely just fall through the hole if I tried to put them in the DVD player...lol

Some newer DVD players can play them you just need to check your DVD player manual first...otherwise the 8mm disc could get stuck in your player. The site Steve reccomeneded is awesome.

We used to always bring a camcorder to WDW when the kids young. But as they got older we took less and less video. I wouldn't trade the tape we have for anything, but eventually we videoed less and less t a point where we no longer take one with us.
