Cambridge Disney Store to close

Sad news for those in Cambridge, I read today that the Cambridge Disney Store is to close early in the new year.

I hope the CM's there find new jobs soon.

My cousin went for an interview at our local Disney store and apparently they are planning on closing a lot of the in mall Disney Stores (Not sure where your local store is located) Such a shame I just hope they plan to replace them with new better store

Feel sorry for the CMs though I not surprised that stores are closing.

We visit the stores in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen whenever we are in town. I cannot remember the last time we bought anything as most of the stock has not been refreshed with new designs for quite a while.

The one in Kingston closed last year but reopened in a different unit a few months ago. It has a very temporary feel, though, and I won't be surprised if it was just opened for Christmas.

I have fond memories of the original Kingston Disney Store which sold adult clothing, watches and kitchen ware along with the childrens stuff. Now it all seems to be toys and costumes with a majority of the stock focussed on the latest film.
