Oh, and YES!! Thank you! I have a whole list of things to buy/procure, including park maps, DTD brochures, GF resort maps, WDW postcards, bags of Mickey pretzels. ... I am so glad you are willing to spend some time shopping.

I'm so excited! My friend Jessica just gave me a gorgeous lenox cake server for a birthday gift, that could be perfect for our cake cutting. (I'll have to see what Howard thinks). We still have our original cake knife which I'll decorate with pink ribbon, but the server broke years ago, and this is so pretty!

As far as the park discounts, for our guests it was equal to the sales tax that is normally added to the tickets.

Not at all, a lot of my guests ended up getting packages through AAA which ended up being a little cheaper than the room and ticket discounts through the DFTW. It really depending on how many days of a ticket they were buying.

I was surprised to read this because I have almost an identical picture that I took in January at a Rose Garden meet that Cam attended. Carrie invited me and I took this picture during Wishes. Did you take yours then too, Cam? Wow, they are almost alike

Lisa -- That's so funny! Vanessa was talking about the one on the front, which she sent me. As a matter of fact, the front of the newsletter template was one she sent me in word. Thank you again, Vanessa! Now, for the one on the back, Lisa, I do in fact also have that picture but mine didn't get as much of the castle and it wasn't as crisp, so I got that from someone's public webshots gallery, IIRC. I wish I'd known you had a good one. I'd have asked to "lift" yours! LOL! Yours is gorgeous! (BTW, I just got off the phone with Carrie and was telling her how awesome your PJ/TR is and that she has to get over here and read it! )

I LOVE my gown (even though I haven't seen the sample in nearly 3 months and I won't have mine until October). As I was looking at bridal magazines at the hairstylist this morning, it occurred to me, that like when you've found the right guy, you might admire the appearance of some other one, but none makes your heart flutter like "the one". LOL! Seriously, I must have seen pictures of hundreds of gowns, and while I could certainly appreciate many of them for the uniqueness or the material or design or whatever, NONE of them compared favorably to mine. I am convinced that the "right gown" finds each bride.

She and her husband teach a wedding photography class together and they talked me into wearing her dress for the class to take pics of me. They kept calling it a bridal portrait But, you know, while her dress was truly lovely, cost more than mine and fit me to a tee, it was not my dress! I told her that she set it off the best for sure. I just loved mine the most

Lisa -- I looked at your MK portraits today and all I could think of was that gown was so absolutely exquisite on you. Nothing could have been more perfect. And the pictures of you and DH on the castle balcony in front of the window looked as if they belonged in a couture bridal magazine "for the Bride who has style and can pull off an extraordinary gown". Really perfect, sweetie!
