Hey, hon, thank you so much for doing a SHOUT OUT!

In the last three weeks, I have conducted two training sessions, one in Delray Beach, Fla, where my flight was cancelled and I had to fly out one day late, and then in West Cornwall, CT, from which I just returned on Friday and then had to prepare for preaching and leading worship as a guest of a congregation this morning that I had never visited. Whew! Can you say tired???

It's all good, and if you look very closely you can see "traces" of me on the boards over the last three weeks, hovering here and there, but you're right there has been no chance to just CHILL with you all.

On the other hand, I love how this board just moderates itself almost all of the time. YOU ALL ROCK!!!

Right now I'm on my way to rush and see, "Notes on a Scandal," (my partner, not the globe trotter I am, has almost seen all of the academy nominated movies), but YES I will be home for the game tonight.

So, what's YOUR poison/pleasure???

Havent settled on beverages yet, but for the pre-game dinner I have deceded on....

Steak on the Barbie with sauteyed mushrooms and onions,

lobster pie,

twiced baked potatoes

and fried green tomatoes, since the ones im my yard wont ripen!

Guess I need to hit the package store for something to wash it all down with!

So I read the highlighted part and got thoroughly confused. Was wondering what the heck a steak had to do with a Barbie doll.

You get a large flank steak, roll Barbie up in it, throw it on the grill, and when you smell burning plastic fake large breasts its done!

Lobster pie is great, can also be made with scallops.....

Fry your lobster or scallops in butter and garlic. (The more butter the better!)

Put some ritz crackers in a food processer.

Aftter your lobster/scallops (or any seafood you like) are cooked, put them in a casarole dish. Layer the Ritz Cracker crumbs on top and top with shredded Montery Jack cheese and bake for about 20 minutes at 350!

Steamed dumplings (of the Chinese sort) with a savoury and spicy dipping sauce.

Spinach and artichoke dip (that needs revision, this wasn't as tasty as it could have been).

Sausage stuffed bread.

Mini Indochine burgers (pork based) and mini chicken burgers.

All items were home made including the bread and burger rolls.

Nothing too fancy to wash it all down with, Rolling Rock. LOL!

Dessert was supposed to be chocolate fondue, but we ran out of room. We'll have that one night this week I guess.
