Calling UK from US...

I remember using a card, or special number with a code last time but can't for the life of me remember who I used or what number!

I need to be able to ring the UK to pay our rent etc and call family and friends for minimum cost or free if possible.

If you have laptop/netbook/ipad or smartphone then use Skype. I first used it last year, put £10 of credit on, made quite a few calls back to UK and I still have £8.53 credit. To UK landlines It costs 1.6p/min (+ 4.5p connection fee)

If you are calling someone else also on Skype calls are free.

I have no idea if I'll have wireless or not so need a phone number I can use from any phone. I'm sure I signed up to something last time and had a number to ring first, then a code, then I entered the number I wanted to ring after, but I can't remember who!
