Calling tomorrow - Hoping for BWV in Oct

We already have a reservation at SSR, but tomorrow is the day I can call. Hoping to switch to BWV's for the F&W Fest in Oct. We had success in 2006, so hoping the same good luck is with us.

We have also thought about possibly switching to AKV if there is availability - one of the places we have not stayed at yet.

Whatever happens, we can't wait to go back!!!!

Keep us posted. I booked BWV at the 11 month window and was nervous I wouldn't be able to get a standard room with the new booking procedure. I did get my 1 bedroom reserved. I bought BWV points specifically for October/F&W.

Same here except we wanted and got a boardwalk view studio. I didn't book at 11 months last year as we didn't decide we were going right away and I wasn't able to get boardwalk view at 10 months, only preferred.

I was able to get a 1 BR for F&W at the seven month mark last year. Good luck!

we own at BWV and due to a change in our holiday dates we have had to wait unti the 7 month mark to call, I managed to get a studio at BWV Boardwalk view, and when I called for the last 2 days of our holiday at the 7 month mark I got a concierge studio at AKV for October 15th & 16th.

However we really wanted a tree house for 30th Sept and BLT for October15th/16th oh well I have them waitlisted but I am not too upset with what we have.

Our stay is planned for Saturday Oct 17th - Fri Oct 23rd. Unfortunately for Standard view, they had no 1 Bedrooms available for the 22nd. I do believe they had Preferred view 1 Bedrooms available for the whole week, wanted to save a little on points.

We did not want to have to switch, so I booked us for a Standard View room at AKV - Kidani Village. We had not stayed at this resort yet, so I am actually very excited about it.

I would have liked BWV's for F&W Fest. But, we will still spend a day there, and an evening on the Boardwalk.

We live in Saratoga and LOVE IT!!! Also hit Lake George, Schroon Lake and Lake Placid often - great places to vacation!!!

Thanks, even though we were shooting for BWV's, I have to say I am pretty excited about staying at AKV.
