My son went to school in Kennedale.

:scratchin Did he ever go to the school nurse :teeth:? I've worked in all of them as their substitute nurse these last few years, and I was Arthur's full time nurse a few years back.

Houstonian too - Clear Lake to be exact...moved here from Chicago in 1995 and are firmly rooted (except for a 1 1/2 yr temporary assignment to Alberta, Canada) and it better be a REALLY good career move to move me anywhere else...

My snowshovel makes a really good dustpan in the garage... :rotfl2:

My grandparents lived in Denison for many years. :)

Very cool. I was born in Houston, then moved up here when I was 4. Then, after HS graduation, it will be off to Texas A&M! :woohoo:

I grew up in the Valley and now live in College Station.
Wow, someone else from the Valley! That's where I live, undoubtedly the furthest south you can get and still be in the US. DS #1 went to school in San Antonio (now lives in Laredo), DS #2 is a resident of Denton, works at a resturaunt in Lewisville when he's not playing (musician) in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I don't know, but I suspect at least one DISer has either heard him play or been waited on by him.

:wave2: Hello from Cameron, TX. This is a small town between Waco and Austin. My oldest DS attends college in Corpus Christ, TX. Corpus has become our adopted home since I strongly contribute to their economy.
Born and bred Texan through and through!!!!!!!!! :cheer2:
