I'm getting ready to purchase the lastest "hot deal" from Universal...the tickets good for 7 consecutive days for $84.95. I was wondering, with your experience, if you think this is a good deal. Over the last few years, have they offered anything that would be better than this? I don't want to get closer to my trip and find out I could have done better.

This sounds like a GREAT deal to me, but I would like someone to back up my thinking! :smooth:

Its a good deal if you plan you just plan on going to the Universal parks for 7 days. It depends on what other parks you plan on going to. If you are going to go to Sea World,Busch Gardens or Wet n Wild the Flexi pass might be a better buy. Its about double the price but you get 14 consecutive days at 5 parks. I guess it depends on what parks and how long youll be there.

Yes.

A regular one day ticket one park costs $50.88 with tax.

Even for two days, you come out better. You might want to go to something over the weekend, or come back and see things again-

You are saving money.

GF: You are TOO kind but I'm hardly an expert, I'm just an editor of a little board... :p

In fact I enjoy being here surrounded by the true experts! :D

I agree, this is indeed a great deal compared to the one, two and three day pass...

..but I couldn't help but think about how I spent $14 dollars more for 365 days!(annual pass from AAA)

Of course I do go alot so it works for me, but for someone visiting for a week this is an awesome deal.

Like the others said, if you do the math, it works!

Mmmmm....the annual pass. Now you have me thinking Robin. I don't think we would get there within the next year, so I probably wouldn't take advantage of it. We are staying for a week and the only other park we will do is Sea World. We can get those tickets for $42. So this works out less than the flex ticket. I figured it couldn't get any cheaper. The annual pass sure sounds tempting though...for $14 more. Thanks everyone for your opinions!!:D

I think it is a good deal if you are going more than 2 days. A 2 day pass alone costs around $90, although unused days on that pass never expires. I spent 5 days at IOA and USF once and I think I could have stayed more. I was at USF for 4 days once and I think that was too much (it was before IOA opened).
