Calling MS vs RAT

Anyone know if there's better success at finding a room by calling member services vs searching using the resort availability tool? Is the RAT up to date in real time?

Many people seem to have success RAT 'stalking'. They have got the reservation doing that even though they were on a wait list. Just takes time to check 2-4 times a day.

RAT, MS, and booking online have the same data on availability.

I find rat to be bizarre and nearly unreadable. I just go to book online and do a few resort changes in about the same time it takes me to scroll through rat.
