Hey everyone. I just cant seem to log on everyday anymore, and by the time I do, there is just so much info.:) We had a busy labor day weekend. My Dad's side of the family came over and we had a big family BBQ. There was 34 of us, all loud Italians. What a blast we had. We convinced two of my cousins and their families to book for our Halloween cruise next year. Now there is going to be 24 of us going. What a blast that will be. Is anyone else thinking about going again next year?

We will be participating in the T or T, I think only my daughter will be dressing up.:Pinkbounc

JAN: I grew up in Coram. It is in the center of LI. When I got married I moved to Holbrook. I moved to FL when I was 27. I really do not miss the hustle and bustle of NY, nor do I miss the cold winters. My first year in FL was a little strange at Christmas time, but now I love it. Christmas is Christmas wherever you are.:D

GoofyDisney: Sorry for not answering you about the FL res discount. I think the thread is just that: Florida Resident Discounts. Anyway, if your family is interested, they need to call DCL and just say they read on the internet about the discount. However, if they want to get a room, they should call soon, because now the discounts are only for certain decks onboard. I guess they are just trying to fill empty rooms.

Yeah!!! This will be so much fun!!

Thank You Suzanne, I just read your new post on the first page. I changed one of my first posting also to the letter Disney sent out last year with detailed events for the Magic's Halloween Cruise.

The list of T-or-T'ers is on page 51.

Great thinking to edit the first posts on this thread!!! It will make it so much easier for those joining us!

GInger....your letter from DCL regarding the Halloween cruise last year...did that come with your docs or separately or what?

I am not sure about trick or treating. I am not sure if I mentioned this yet or not, but we just found out a branch of our family will be joining us for this cruise! We are very excited. So, we are going to try and do most stuff with just them as we don't get to see them very often. But we will let you know if we are trick or treating.

And we will miss out on the Rad git-to-gither b/c we will be at MNSSHP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Annabelle is so excited because we bought her the "Jessie" costume for this event! It seemed the perfect run-around-the-park-till-midnight costume. She is really so excited. So now every day we have to do her hair like Jessie! This may very well go on for two months, I am not sure!

DId ya'll read that someone got their docs for the Oct 10th cruise? Ours shouldn't be too far behind!!!!

Hope everyone had a great Labor Day!!!

Thanks Suzanne - I made a copy of your updated post for my folder.

Karen - I was wondering how soon it would be until we receive our docs. I was going to post that question. It sounds like it may be about 2 more weeks. I'm expecting my t-shirt from Ray this week. Yippee!!! Patty:bounce: :Pinkbounc :earsgirl:

ESTELLE: We can tell people that Phil is dressing up as ;) "a retired engineer on vacation." ;)

ALL: We took Ted to college Sunday and then drove to the south of Indiana to check out a historic town--Madison--on the Ohio River. Many historic homes, wide streets as they had hoped to be the state capital, founded in 1809 (I think). Very interesting. Stayed overnight in our camper in our new friends' driveway. While there, we learned that their daughter did a Land and sea for her honeymoon last year. Smart lady. :Pinkbounc

We ate at a Caribbean style restaurant for lunch today in Madison just before heading home. :) What a nice TREAT!! :) I got a new ring that is abalone with a tiny sea turtle on it. hard to describe, but really neat.

Good morning! in exactly 24 hours I will have just started my first day back at school! Ah well, at least I know that the next time we break up, Ill be heading for disney! Wahooooo! Something from Universal studios came in the post today I dont know what it is but everything's getting so close! YAY!

Jan--If I could just get him the Darth Vader mask he could be Darth Vader dressed up as a retired engineer on vacation. What a hoot, to quote Emma.
Sounds like there will be all sorts of family and extended family on the cruise. What fun.
Finally got the DH to sit and check out this thread. Being an engineer he approved of the spread sheet.
Emma-- I printed out the page with all your interesting facts on it. We have a friend who doesn't have a computer who loves that sort of thing. Actually I enjoy them too. So thanks for all of them.
Have to get to the laundry. Would have done it yesterday but since it was a holiday and not too hot we went to the zoo instead. Good time was had by all. Estelle

Jan :earsgirl:

I hope EMMA and everyone else has a wonderful day,

Someone mentioned I think it was Emma, a teen forum. Where is that? My son Bryan is 14 and he would be interested in chatting with some fellow halloween cruisers. Thanks in advance.
