Calling Halloween Cruisers!

Many years ago we lived in Marshall Texas for two years. The worst time of year was winter. The Christmas trees didn't look right or smell right. And who ever heard of a Super Bowl party with the guests in t-shirts and shorts. Then we moved up to New Jersey and then 27 years ago we moved to the Christmas City. We get snow and sleet and freezing rain and I wouldn't trade for a second. Of course when we go to WDW we usually go in February. That means we call home and laugh at the complaints about the weather.
We are still reading up on what we might do on our own in various places. Not really sure, but there are also things to do on the boat I think we might do. Have to see what DH would like to do. Besides sit and veg of cours.

Im home! Wow, you restrained yourselves-only 3 pages whilst I was gone! I had a really good time, saw quite a lot of my cousins and people. I took my 3 year old cousin to see Stuart Little 2 with my nan and he made us stay till the curtain came down AFTER all the credits-do you know how many of them there are!

Yes, I live near liverpool (I know this is dating back a bit but nevermind)

Tink-My mum told me you'd joined the boards the other day, I was gonna get my dad to post and tell you that I was away to pm me but I see Jan got there first!

I won't bore you with all the details of my trip but it was really good fun. hmm, for once, I cant think of much to say. Oh, back to school on Wednesday!

I've been getting emails from other families going on the cruise with us. They have children who would like to join in on our T-or-T. YAHHOOO!!!! I am getting really excited more children to join in the fun.
Lynne, I have asked Nicole to email you with her information. I will email you with the rest of the names and stateroom numbers.

P.S. Anyone else interested in a DIS'ers and Cruise Critic meet for Brunch at Palo? Monday Oct 28, ressie times between 11-11:30 a.m.. Last year we had 22 members attend the brunch.

you mean that? I also love singing but I cant draw to save my life! Im better at acting really. I know what you mean about different cultures and how people live. Sign language also facinates me.

Ginger - I started working on creating the signs to put on our rooms yesterday for the T or T. Sent a sample to Debby for her input. To complete the job I need the room numbers of those participating...so another gentle reminder to everyone who would like to partcipate to get your info to either Ginger, Debby "Masonpipes" or I (Lynne, "NJFamily").

We are not big seafood eaters so I'll cast a vote for lunch at Lumiers. I'm sure no matter where we eat, there will something for everyone. Ginger, do you need a finally head count for this to make reservations for the lunch or can we just arrive as a group and get seated together?

Do not think that we will do lunch at Palo's on Monday. Sorry. I think we will go for dinner one night, but we haven't figured out which would be the best night for us yet.

Estelle - It is raining here in NJ, I hope you are geeting some too! The Weather Channel is pridicating 1/2 inch. Every little bit helps!

Yes at last we are getting a nice soft steady rain. It started right after we got home from church. Everyone is pleased except the dog. She hates rain.
Does anyone have a total on the number of kids who might be trick or treating? I may need to find or order more things. I am pretty sure that I already signed on with our stateroom number and that there are no kids.

Unless I am counting wrong there will be no need to order more stuff. We have a grand total of 20 families posting. Out of the 20 we have 11 families saying yes they want to participate. Out of the 11 families we have a total of 9 children. Still waiting to hear from some.
Lynne has been so kind to give us her time to make door signs, but you need to now give your answers.

No, I will not be participating.

This event will only take about an hour for those who have children participating and even less for those who do not. Please let Lynne or Debby know so that we all can get a head count.
The lunch does not require reservations.

Teen Cruise...do you mean going to common grounds? If you do, yeah me and my cousin were going to try some of the stuff. She's 14 too. I'm a little younger than her though, I only turn fourteen exactly 20 days before the cruise.

I keep getting a different count on the number of kids TorTing. Do we have a cut off date when no more kids will be added? We have no kids but are planning to treat any who show up. I will have a costume but DH will just be himself.
No Jan I couldn't persuade him. Alas
We have had rain all day. And it is lovely and cool, about 60. Hasn't been this cool since last March. Well off to the laundry. Estelle

Tink - I think the teen cruise Emma is talking about is one of the excursions at Cozumel. It's called Fury Catamaran Teen Cruise. It's about 2 hours and is for ages 13-17. The info in the brochure says "It's a totally teen scene! Teens can enjoy a party on this 65 foot catamaran excursion, including a DJ spinning the latest tunes, snacks & beverages. Dance, hang with new friends & just enjoy some fun time away from the folks".
