Calling Halloween Cruisers!

Howdy!

We are set to sail for the Oct 26th Magic Halloween cruise!!!!!! We were part of the notorious 9/28/02 group, but changed just this morning.

We have been on one other cruise. (9/29/01) It was a once in a lifetime vacation that we swore to repeat every single year!

We tried to cruise with friend we met on the last cruise, but couldn't get our schedules together.

So...we can hardly wait! And look forward to meeting other Dis-ers.

Pryd...AWESOME logo!!!!!!!!!! Did I read somewhere you made something for cruisers?

On the 9/28, Goofynut made a logo, then put it on iron-on paper for eveyrone and sent the iron-ons to everybody so that people could put it on whatever they wanted. (People were going for lite blue t-shirts)

Another group did green leis.

If you wouldn't mind sending me the logo, I might make something for our family. If you do mind...then that is totally fine also.

Is there a planned meet and greet at the Rad or on board? I know I come late to the party...but I am jumping right in!!!

This cruise is going to be a blast!!!!!!!

DAN AND SCOTT!!! Are you seriously on this cruise? The 9/28-ers will be so jealous that we get to cruise with you. So, the cruisetoberfesters and the 9/29-ers will be well represented on this ship. WATCH OUT!!!

And for Masonpips & RRB, I grew up in Houston, and will be going there in August to visit Mom and Dad. And we lived in Boca Raton for five years!

It is a small world after all!

Thanks for the list. I guess I'll have to start really pushing on the DH to get moving on the Radisson the night before. We also have the late seating, forgot to put that in the last note. Waiting to see the costumes in the next Disney Catalogue. Have something in mind but need a piece I can't make. You all take care. Estelle

Hi everyone, boy you take a few days off to tend your garden and everybody writes in.

Welcome Goofy Disney, I sailed with your old cruising buds Sept 2000. What a group.

Andrea I am so glad your feeling better and DH too.

Come on Jan and Estella join us at the Radisson the night before we'll all head over to Kelly's or Rusty's for dinner that night. Then do the buffet breakfast at the Rad in the morning before we get the free shuttle to the ship. Jan the Radisson offers free parking for guest while they are on the cruise and they will keep you T.V. in their safe or office...anyway it will be safe. I believe they are still offering the "FALL" promo of $59. room per night or $99. suites per night.

Just wanted to share that we have found some decorations for our stateroom door! It is a plastic BATES Motel sign that even flashes vacancy!

By the way the humor in this all is that my last name is BATES, and yes my mother is cruising with us!

These are the dates and times shown on the travel channel's website: 7/14 & 7/20, 1:00 a.m. & 10:00 p.m. I'm going to tape it.

Yesterday I got an email from a friend I met thru this discussion board and she was on my first Disney cruise. She told me a co-worker of her's will be going on our cruise with her husband and parents. I going to email her back to tell her co-worker about the discussion board and the Halloween thread. Hopefully, she'll join our growing group. BTW, Ginger they're from the Baltimore area. Patty

Champagne brunch at Palos sounds super--what would conflict with either of those times? Why would either day be better than the other?

I read on another thread that people had set up a DIS meet on the ship but only a few people went. Let's do better than that!

So what do you guys think about getting leis for the sailway party? Lime green ones of course! (GoffyDisney's suggestion) Also last year on the 9/22 cruise some of us brought something that was made in our area, for example the group from Ohio brought buckeyes (candy) someone from TN brought GooGoo clusters, it ended up being a small buffett line, but it was fun, also the CM's enjoyed the stuff as well. We also had US flags that each DIS got and waved during the sailaway, we had about 150 flags so this ended up being fun as well as we shared with other families.

We are totally up for leis - let us know! And I'm sure I could bring some HOT TX salsa or similar! What's up with the shirts? I saw the logo/ordering page - are a lot of people planning on wearing those?

I am totally stressed about the list of things I want to do:
Palo's - dinner/brunch (how to fit this in with Key West, Cozumel, dinner rotation, etc.)

Surial Bath - when and fitting it in with the rest and will my kids hate/love the Lab/Club so we can definitely go?

Don't even get me started on what to wear

Cozumel excursion?

Key West excursion? (probably nothing, we'll wander alone or do the sunset cruise, but I really don't want the kids with us, but then I'm afraid it's the first day in the clubs and they may hate it)

I'm ok with Grand Cayman (~phew~ one partial day taken care of)
