I have another interview today and hopefully I will know tomorrow (I'm hoping for this) or next week what my future situation will be. Dh and I will probably house-hunt in 2 weeks and be ready to roll come Sept 1 (when our companies are due to close on the merger pending now). Once we get that done, I can FOCUS on this cruise alone (ok, and my new job lol)!

Sorry I haven't been around much - hopefully after today I can play more, work less! What an attitude eh????

DEBBY: We are looking forward to hearing all about the new jobs and moves. We wish you well with all the changes for yourselves and the children. If you have found THE house before the cruise, bring pictures!!

A long-time family friend recently wrote asking why I wanted to spend so much time on the computer communicating with all of you. She thought it would be more fun to meet people on the cruise and that this would be taking the spontaneity out of it all. I will try to explain, but I doubt if she will "get" it.

We have cruised before but never knew about the DIS. You guys have gotten me through a very depressing winter, whether you know it or not. Having Tom's support and "talking" to you have been the high points of each day and the counter balances to a lot of sadness during the season of minimal sun.

THANKS FOR BEING THERE GUYS!! I look forward to putting faces with your writings.

Jan: You really have to watch it, its a very good adaption of the first book. The special effects are great but they dont overpower the story itself. But then I guess I am biased and you aint ever gonna get a bad review of it outta me!

When you go to the main CRUISE FORUM page, at the bottom of each page is a place where you can choose to have the threads sorted by "Last post time" "number views" "number of posts" etc.

Check out where WE ARE in NUMBER OF VIEWS and NUMBER OF POSTS!!

choose that option in the box and then click the GO at the right hand edge of the same line.

Are we having fun yet???

EMMA: Is warmer weather projected? It is about 30 degrees C. here. I think I did the math right--around 90 degrees F. When I look at centigrade temperatures I have to remind myself that you are not talking fahrenheit and I am.

this was supposed to be a heatwave! i was wearing shorts earlier in the week but now its raining. In venice it was about 40C and when we got home it was 18!

Hello Everyone,
We are also celebrating. We received our confirmation that our final payment has been received.

Yesterday we also celebrated our anniversary. We celebrated by taking our son to Cheekwood Botanical Garden for a treehouse exhibit. We are still kids at heart. It was great.

We are not planning on dining at Palo's. We always like to eat our meals with our son whenever possible. Going to work means missing too many meals with him. I hope everyone has a good time.

I have not had any Key Lime pie yet but my husband did get me a surprise. He bought me a 5# bag of my favorite Just Born candy made in Bethlehem, PA--Hot Tamales. I could eat the whole bag but I would not be a pretty sight come cruise time.

I think someone asked about the Fall Special at the Radisson. We made our reservations online on July 29. We did get the $59 rate.

ROCHELLE: We used to live in Bethlehem and ESTELLE and her DH still do. Just Born Candy is a favorite of ours. When I did Cub Scout Day Camp the company always donated some little boxes of candies for snacks for the kids. Hot Tamales is a favorite of mine too. Some of my friends are big on Peeps. The funny thing is that I can find Peeps in the stores here in Indiana earlier than Estelle can find them in Bethlehem. Enjoy your treat!
