Calling Disney now-Over an hour wait!

Anyone calling to change/modify a reservation tonight? I just called 20 minutes ago, on hold and it said the wait was over 60 minutes. Ridiculous. I was to drop 1 day at the end of trip.
 
I'm sure lots of people are buying tickets as the price increase looks to go into effect tomorrow. There's a "run on the bank" as it were....no doubt.

If that's what you are calling for, call tomorrow. People are calling to buy tickets before the increase at midnight.

Yes, I have to do it tonight because I have a bounceback package that includes tickets and if I drop 1 day, apparently the package changes and then I will be charged the increase ticket price. I booked this bounceback in Aug. 2015.

Then stay on hold. Not sure what time they close.
 
I am on hold, as well :rolleyes1. I was hoping the BB number would be open.
 
I just got off the phone, total of 50 minutes, 40 of which was on hold. The CM told me lots of people were calling to book packages since one of the offers expires tomorrow. I actually called earlier as well and that CM told me the same thing. I mentioned the price increase might be a cause and she said she didn't actually have that many people calling just about tickets :confused3
 
Just got off, as well. Waited 45 minutes and then was on the phone for 10 more minutes. But got everything I needed done so it was worth it :-)
 
People here on the dis said that if I wanted to drop a day off my package, the new ticket price would then kick in. I called and they put me into customer service and the CM told me that I would not be paying the higher price for the tickets and I can drop the day 45 days before my package with no problem.
 
I bet most people just buying tickets are doing it online. It's pretty simple; whereas, changing a package, and I guess buying one, is better on the phone. However, I don't get why someone wouldn't buy online. I know changing can't always be done online.

Are you taking a day off the tickets or just your room? I know last year we decided to change ten day tickets to two day tickets after a price increase happened. We had to pay the price of two day tickets with the price increase.
 
wait times are still high this morning and I just want to talk to tours. 45min estimation :/
 
After being on the phone for so long last night a room I wanted opened up, so here I am on the phone again. Over a 90 minute wait. Does anybody know if I can drop the tickets off the package if I just do it online? I have a ticketless package currently and that's why I have to call and change it instead of being able to do it online
