We're sending the grandparents out to dinner for their anniversary during our trip in May/June. I made ADRs at Artist Point, but was thinking about changing, as I haven't read a lot of reviews (positive or negative) about it.
He's a retired Marine who likes camping, outdoors, animals, nature, etc. and loves food! She's into the Southwest, rustic (but not primitive) settings, etc. and doesn't tend to eat much. Grampa usually finishes her dinner!!
We're staying at the Poly, so I was trying to stick with a resort restaurant so they wouldn't have to brave the parks on their own (it's a surprise dinner for just the two of them), but if you think there's a PERFECT place in a park, let me know!
Thanks all!

I'm scheduling DH and my 25th anniversary at MGM's Hollywood Brown Derby for a taste of "old Hollywood", but that's in the parks and probably unnecessary for you to switch. Look on allears.net for the exact menu of Artist Point. I would say you did just fine--no point in second guessing....ASMo June 08 here we come
