Calling Dan Murphy. . . were you the "phone a complete stranger?"

We were at the SWW version of WWTBAM last Friday (6/9) and the young lady playing used her "phone a complete stranger" lifeline. The stranger they pulled over to the phone identified himself as "Dan Murphy" and I immediately wondered if it was "our" Dan Murphy from the DIS ? Dan, was it you?. . were you out there taking pictures of SWW?
PS: it was a really difficult question (2nd from the last) and even Warwick Davis didn't know the answer!

BTW, since you are the resident expert, do you know if it is true that WWTBAM is closing down?

There is a thread on the community board looking for Dan also. It seems he is MIA at the moment.

I don't think it was our Dan Murphy. Dan was at WDW toward the end of May, but returned home before the end of the month. I doubt he was back again that soon. It's possible, but not likely.

It was more likely another guest. I had delivered a gift basket to a Dan Murphy about that time. It may have been him.

PS: The Star Wars themed basket you delivered for my DNeph was WONDERFUL - thanks again for helping me spoil such a wonderful and deserving little guy - the smile on his face when we got back to our room and he walked in to find his goodies was about a MILE wide !!!

Towncrier, I have met you in person and think I can attest to the fact that while you might have been a 'complete stranger' once so have I and I bet I am 'stranger' than you! PS, I got my question right also.

diznygirl, (sobbing) I am trying to cope with the idea that my very favorite attraction is not only closing down but closing down a mere few weeks before I go on our next trip.

Feralpeg, Dan Murphy is sort of like Santa Claus - there are many imitators out there but there is only one REAL Dan. I had been wondering if he was alright as I have not seen him around the boards much lately. I hope all is well in his world.
