I will be leaving Saturday for a long weekend stay at the Wilderness Lodge-- our first time there-- we have a woods view reserved-- Florida residents rate--

Based on these requests-- can you suggest a room? Granted-- this may be pushing it-- but based on what I am at least hoping for-- where do you think we should TRY to request to stay?

**I want low noise--I am a VERY light sleeper
**If we can get a Magic Kingdom fireworks glimpse or view of Electric Water pageant that would be great---
** I would like a balcony to see out
** I would like to not necessarily see the pool or a parking lot

Any ideas? Thanks so much-- we are so excited for this visit at the WL!

Based on your wants I would request the following:

North wing, 5th Floor, Magic Kingdom View

This should enable you to have a room that would not have a lobby entrance (noise from WCC) and possibly a fireworks view.

When it is within 5 days you can call WL itself and add this to your ressies.

Though I will tell you we requested the above and instead of receiveing it we had a magical upgrade to an inner courtyard bear face room. We LOVED this view, great balcony and it was high enough there was no "pool" noise. However, we did hear some noise from the WCC (lobby entrance) but it didn't bother us.

Good luck on getting a great room!!!

Room 5032 would satisfy all of your requests, but I think it is near the secondary elevator but shouldn't be too noisy. I would just add this room to your requests or at least something near by.

I think rooms between 5014 to 5032 meet all your needs except the water pageant. The lower numbered rooms are further away from the elevator but more quite. I stayed in room 5010. We counldn't see the fireworks because we were blocked by trees, but it was very quite. I would stay in this area or the WL again when we go back.

In May we stayed in room 5032. A few nights we watched the fireworks from our balcony, it was great. My family wasn't bothered from any extra noise from the elevators. Early morning views of the otter pond critters was also a treat for my 4 yr old, as well as watching the monorail go by. I have a great picture of the castle framed by the trees on my fridge that I look at every morning and remember being so lucky to stay in that room w/ that view. Enjoy the hotel its just so beautiful!! :wave2:
