Calling all Vistana Resort experts

Would love to hear your opinions on which area to request at the Vistana Resort for our October trip. We will be traveling with three very active teens, so we would like something close (easy walking distance) to a great pool, basketball court, fitness center, and any organized teen activities or teen hangouts. Hubby and I love a good pool scene with music and a pool bar. Of course we would love a newly refurbished room, but if we got a clean older room, it certainly wouldn't be the end of the world.

I realize that my request may or may not be granted, but I just want suggestions on which area is best for our needs. BTW, we are renting (not exchanging) and will be checking in on a Friday if that matters. Not planning to spend much (if any) time at the parks so we're hoping for an awesome resort experience. Also, if someone could provide the diamond lane link I need to make my request, I would very much appreciate it.

I don't actually remember which section checks in on which day although we have owned in Vistana for 10 years. Having said that, you're safe in Cascades, or a recently refurnished Falls, Fountains I or Fountains II unit. Lakes is also excellent, but just a bit of a walk to get to the main pools and tennis, mini-golf etc.
