Calling all Vegetarians

Oddly enough, one of the best meals we had on property on our last trip (two veggies in our party) was at Ohana! Granted, this was about two years back, but I was literally blown away.

I went there perfectly content with eating nothing but salad and bread pudding all night while we drank Lapu Lapu's, but they really really outdid themselves.

I will try and dig up my old photobucket account that had pictures, but they made us an amazing Tofu/noodle dish as well as some great stir fried veggies. It was an absolutely impossible amount of food for two people, but we absolutely enjoyed it.

Also wanted to add, we ate at a ton of buffets, and at each one the chef came out and walked us through what was "safe" to eat from the buffet. At the Wave, I mentioned I really loved eggs benedict and the chef prepared some for me with spinach and artichokes and it was amazing. We didn't expect special treatment anywhere we went, but Disney really set the bar high. After 10 nights, we were quite spoiled.

Nope. Had it the first time on our first trip in 2010.

Their vegetarian chili is good too. Weird in combo with that sandwich though.

I think Pecos got rid of the fixings bar.

The soups at BOG are vegetarian. Ask about any soup bc they'll hide meat stock. But those two are veggie.
I just had it the topoings bar last time I was there (end of June). It has different offerings now (to fit with the New Mexican menu) and they are awesome!

The best two vegetarian entrees I've ever had haven't even been mentioned yet. At Trails End buffet (Fort Wilderness), we mentioned to our waiter about my husband being vegetarian very casually, and without even ask for it, ten minutes later comes out this enormous grilled veggies and noodle dish that was fantastic and just for us. It was the size of a platter and tasted amazing. No extra charge.

At Coral Reef in Epcot, the marinated grilled vegetables with vegetarian chik'n is vegan and absolutely delicious. It's got black rice and a tomato vinegarette and it's wonderful. Best menu vegetarian option In the world IMO.

Agree with Columbua Harbor House for best quick service vegetarian option--the hummus and broccoli sandwich. (And if your traveling with any pescatarians, their salmon entree is good too).

EDIT: Just checked coral reef's menu, and they've discontinued the marinated grilled vegetables! That was my husband's favorite dish at all of WDW! Oh no! They've replaced it with crabless crab cakes (blech).
