Can you give me any info about how good/bad Indian River fishing is in early November? I'm thinking about forgoing Jersey Week @ WDW and booking VB istead. I would do this primarily because DH loves fishing and doesn't often get to go while we're on vacation.

He has fished the IR before, but not at this time of year. I was thinking that maybe setting up a charter trip for him while we are there would be a good birthday present, BUT I'm not sure how good the fishing is at that time of year.

Anyone have any idea what can be expected at that time of year? TY!

I'll ask DH and get back to you. The Dad of our son's friend runs a charter business so I'll ask him, too, if I get the chance.

You can pick up a lot of charter info at Capt. Hiram's. They may even have some on their website.

I saw people fishing yesterday at Sebastian Inlet which surprised me because there is red tide right now and I didn't think you could fish when red tide was present.:confused3

I'll let you know if I find anything out.

Thank you! I really appreciate any info you can send my way.

Well, DH wasn't much help. He said "yah, there's fish in the water. :confused3

He said the fishing is great that time of year. I'd have to agree with him as the weather is usually beautiful then.

I'll post again if I talk to the Dad of DS's friend. Did you check out Hiram's website?

LOL! Sounds like a guy answer! Tell him thanks, I really appreciate it.

I haven't check Hiram's site yet, but will during the week when things are a little less hectic around here. I do believe that is where he went fishing out of last time we were at VB, but that was at the end of October and after all, what do I really know?

Again, thanks for the information!
