Calling all Value Experts!!!

Y'all are KILLING me!!!! (But in a good way :goodvibes )

So many things to consider!

Let me throw one more factor in...we usually drive to the parks and try to avoid Disney buses. I can't handle the wait...I know patience is a virtue but it is one that I am still working on.

Does that change anyone's recommendation?

What I am hearing is:

POP

1. Fun resort - lots of great icons, music, great gift shop
2. Larger food court (with FROZEN COKES - does the fact that I might actually let this be the deciding factor worry you? It does me;) )
3. Larger resort - good and bad...

MUSIC

1. Newly painted rooms with new bedding
2. Quieter
3. Movies and activities by pool.

Both seem to have great CMs...I suppose choosing between 2 resorts is a good problem to have!!!!!:yay:

I must be surrounded by pixiedust: pixie dust pixiedust: when I use Pop buses because I NEVER have had a long wait for busses, even at closing.

The lines can be very long and look daunting, but busses are sent frequently.

ooh I replied and forgot to mention the movies by the pool. I LOVED the idea. I didn't get to stay for the entire movie because the kids were falling asleep but it I wish they did that at all of the resorts. A definate plus if you plan on a relaxing evening at the resort. That and the fact that they served my favorite Nachos Supreme at lunch and they had me hooked! (I tried the POP version and they were not so good.)

If driving your own vehicle, the parking at POP can be limited. They didn't plan the parking very well there and you could be quite a ways from your building.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not really dissing POP, as we loved the resort.

I've stayed at all of the Values, and Movies is my favorite. Best theming, food court, pool and bar. Stayed at Pop 3 times, and it's always been a bit too crowded in the food court and buses.

As for the AS sharing buses, trust me - If you're staying at Music or Movies, it's better. When leaving the park at closing, each resort has it's own bus. You can take either one (whichever is less crowded) and walk to the other resort. Some rooms at Movies are closer to the bus stop at Music and vice versa. At closing, staying at Pop, you've got only 1 option and that option is always busy.

Loved the tidbit about taking any of the AS buses after the parks...never thought of that....!!!!:thumbsup2

What I am the most excited about is the PRICE at either! AAA has ASMu for $67 a night during our stay! I believe POP is $82- Either way, 4 nights for less than we've often paid for one night in a Deluxe! Whoo Hoo!!!:cool1:
