If you had a reception and brought your own music to play ,how did you play it? We want to bring our own iPod speaker but our family brainiac said we would need some kind of transformer as the it would be different to uk voltage. We though we would just use a travel adapter but I guess this wouldn't work

Don't want to use Disney but will do if necessary, if you used Disney did they do a good job?

We had a reception and took our own iPod and speakers. We actually used Bose travel speakers which are battery operated so didn't have an issue with power supply. However, you only need a transformer if the item operates on single voltage only, I think the UK voltage is 220 and US is 120. It normally tell you on the appliance (if you have GHD'S it definitely tells you on there).

If in doubt use batteries! I have a UK/US transformer that I use on some US electrical stuff at home - they are only about £6.50 from amazon.
