Calling all scrappers!!!!

I know that there are so many of you out there so I figured that this is a great place to ask my question.

I have always liked the look of well done scrapbooks and have wanted to do my own for quite some time now but I am SOOOOOO intimidated by the amout of stuff out there . I go to the store with big plans and leave ampty handed because I just do not know where to start .

Well, I recently bought a small top loading scrapbook in order to scrap my graduation so I am starting small ....my next scrapbook will be of my Land/Sea trip in May. I don't want to OVER DO my pages but I like the look of stickers and 3-D things on the page.

Sooo, my question is what items do think are necessary for my scrapbook (how many stickers, tags etc?)

I've been scrapping since 1996 but I haven't done much lately. I'm STILL on my DCL land/sea vacation for 2001. LOL. Thanks for the links Grayfal. I'll be sure to check it out!

On my first book I bought fancy paper and stickers and such and it was much too busy!

After that I used a solid paper and liked the results much better.
I added a strip or corner of "fancy" paper and accented with stickers and borders.

Everyone likes different things-- you will never get all the projects done but it is fun to do!
