Calling all scrappers

Well, my lovely husband bought me a whole load of scrapping stuff for Christmas, including a lovely 12 x 12 Disney album, loads of papers and punch outs and a seriously nifty cutter thing (haven't worked out quite what it's for yet )

Anyway, I'm desperate to get started but I'm not really sure how or where to start. I went through some of my photos last night, looking for inspiration, but I still don't really know where to begin. So, can any of you lovely crafty people point me in the direction of some good resources on how to get started, either books or websites

I second Kaylee's reply and also suggest the galleries at www.twopeasinabucket.com There's also a scrapbooking forum right here on the DIS, look under "Creative Community" on the main forums list.

Can't really help just wanted to say what a lovely gift I'd love to scrap but as I can't even get my photos in albums I doubt I ever will!

Tony (well, Theresa ) that's great - a lot of the pages (layouts, is that the proper term?) I have seen look really busy and overcrowded but that's really effective

Any chance of a step-by-step guide to how it was done
