Calling all Savannah, GA experts

I booked a hotel on hotwire to stay in the historical district and it ended up being the Hyatt Regency. I am a little disappointed, especially because I found out that it will be $18/day to park there. Does anyone know if that includes the day you arrive and the day you leave? In other words, it would be $60 if we went Friday-Sunday. That is entirely too much if that is the case. Are there any other places in the area for me to park that would be cheaper?

Also, while I'm asking: has anyone ever been to the Murder Mystery Show at the Pirate House (put on by the Savannah Theater)? It sounds right up me and DH's alley but the prices are high (even more expensive than Hoop Dee Doo at DW!) so I would love to hear some good reviews before I bought our tickets.
