So I ran today for the first time since the 1/2. That was interesting because before I had a goal for running, now I don't.
Any suggestions on how to stay motivated until November?
I have 2 5K's in March and May but nothing beyond that. I'm going to continue on my weight loss journey (hated my foto pics more than I thought I would) but I'm not sure where to go from here.
I do need to work on speed but I don't know where to start. Do I go back to C25K and try to get faster?
I don't remember (sorry) if you're a straight runner or a run/walker but in my "between times" (especially when I can get outdoors) I like to work on reducing my walk time. I'm really comfortable with a 4 min. run 1 min walk for a half but try to be able to always straight run a 5K. So that's where my goals go after a race. I may get my first post WDW running in today if the schedule fits or tomorrow after my class if not.

Not the only ones at all! I crack up at every silly one of 'em.
Okay, true story - NO ONE was broadcasting the speed bump message when I went through the MK tolls booth during PHM. No loudspeaker, no volunteers yelling, nothing. That's a freaking rD TRADITION, people! So I took matters into my own hands and yelled it out: "ATTENTION RUNNERS - SPEED BUMPS AHEAD!!!" I got a few chuckles.
