Hi all! I am completely a novice at all of this. I will be 44 in 2014 and decided to set the goal of running the Princess 1/2.I have never done any type of race before. I am wondering what programs the experts here started off doing? I was considering the C25K, but the runDisney website has a program too...I plan of completing at least one 5K and one 10K before February. I can't wait to read through this thread and learn all about it!

My mom actually took in my TOT and a local unisex race shirt for me - just sewed a couple inches in from the side seams and chopped off the excess! Much better fitting... but the TOT shirt (same material as the EEC) is still uncomfortably hot and prickly.
Also, and I know it's FOREVER away, but check your shirt BEFORE you walk away from the table when they give it to you...with your own eyes. I picked up my BF's stuff because he was flying in late, he was registered for a Men's shirt, I even said "that's the men's one, right?", the guy said yes, got back to the room and it wasn't. Went back to exchange and they didn't have any to exchange...eventhough it wasn't my fault, there was no way to prove it. Luckily, just as they were telling me "no", another man walked up wanting to exhange his too...he had the men's size I needed and they had the size he wanted so I snagged it.
Anyway, all that to say, the exchange table is there, but may not be able to help since they only have what others are turning in to exchange with. It's a crap-shoot.
some more questions:
already!! Sitting here with card in hand ready to go!!!

you made my day...and hopefully as I learn I can help someone too

. Good luck with registration everyone!
