Thanks Amy~ Sounds like fun and a nicely run event. Definitely stays on our list for 2009.
I think I might be in for the Space Coast Half in 2009, esp if I decide to do the 2010 WDW Full!!
We are staying at Beach Club Villas from the 6th 'till the 11th. I'm not a runner, but am trying to become one. I'm up to five straight miles now, 2x a week and feel great. I wish I had more time to train, but such is life.
I hope to be able to run at least 8 miles straight without stopping and speed walk the rest . . . can I do it??? Looking forward to starting on page one and working my way through this thread.I;m so excited about this race all of my medals so far are race cars, bridges, chef's hats, etc nothing really cool and girly! I'm running the Gasaparilla marathon in Tampa the Sunday 3/1 before so i won't be real peppy but i'll finish!
We will be staying at Wilderness Lodge.
Def. not my best!! Here's hoping next week is better!!
I'll start training this week. I did get in about 30 miles last week. My DD is home from college and she is training with me. The older DD may be out (as far as the half marathon) as she came home at Thanksgiving with mono.
I hope your daughter feels better soon. I had mono in college and it really took me awhile to get over it.
Good for you! Hey Lady WISHer Princesses!!!
Sounds like everyone is getting started on there training! Great, keep at it and get in those miles. Today as part of my WDW Half Marathon training I did 12 miles. It went pretty good. Did my ice bath in the pool water as it was about 70 degrees and saved filling the tub with water and ice.
Keep it up ladies!!

70 degrees... As i look out my window and see the first snow of the year, and they are talking single digit windchills for tonight..

That is very scary in my book. One reason I live in FL - the other is to be close to Mickey!!

It was 23 when I got up to run this morning. It was cold but the sunrise was amazing!
There was still a little snow on the ground. That 30 min flew by!
