Christine...you're definitely NOT out of the loop....you made the loop, girl . I was afraid of stepping on toes, but wanted to see if Rebecca would send one to me if I was ordering others as well. As it turns out she's sweet enough to sell us others at $5 too. Kind of a WISH discount. She may be favorable to you doing a bulk order so she has an idea of how many to make. Let us know when you contact her about the final color selection and I'll order mine then. I'm sure there are other WISHers on the boards, who haven't stopped by the Princess thread, that might want one, too. Thanks for getting this all going, it's an awesome idea.

I like the Magenta headband, too. It would be nice to keep it exclusive. I can just see myself walking up to someone b/c of their headband, only to have them look at me askance and with trepidation...

I spoke today to Kaitlyn with Disney Sports about the substitution of the Happily Ever After Party for the Pirate and Princess Party that was originally offered at a discounted rate with our Princess registration. She said the details are still not complete - but so far the plan is for the party to be held at MGM (sorry - can't call it HS yet) until midnight, with the usual limited attractions open (RnR, ToT, GMR, TSM), a princess meet and greet, and a performance of Beauty and the Beast.

I pointed out to her that it is EMH evening hours at MGM that night. She was surprised and said she would mention that to her boss right away. Hmm. I also pointed out that if you have an annual pass or use your admission ticket elsewhere anytime that day as it stands now you could stay in the park with EMH until 10PM. What would I be getting for 2 extra hours (and spending $40)? She mentioned the possibility of a Princess Parade, but surely that would have to be after the park closes for EMH at 10PM. I suggested a free 5x7 picture with the princesses might be nice (but not worth $40).

I asked her to please make sure they announce the final details before the Feb 20th refund deadline. IF you don't have an AP or have an admission ticket to use that day, you can enter MGM with your Happily Ever After ticket after 4PM, so that still might make it a good deal.

I also suggested that it would be wonderful if they came up with a second half marathon course, and they could alternate it with the Jan half. One year do course A in Jan, and course B in March, the next year to course B in Jan and course A in March. She said she would pass that along.

Tracey--no wories, my toes don't feel stepped on!! I am waiting to hear back from Rebecca, then I will post about the ordering process.

I managed to train (TM) 2 out of 5 days while on my trip. I wanted to go to the fitness center on check out day, but no way was that happening given my lack of sleep over the previous 48 hours. Back on the TM at home yesterday--though a bit sluggish. Made my 100 min workout, but not at my typical speed. Made just over 6 miles, so I really shouldn't complain.

I just entered both races and DH for the 5K stroller.
I know its a gamble with the sponsership, but I thought that if I leave it any longer the races will be full.

Well I think I am finally on the mend. I followed the Dr's orders and didnt train this week. I am going to try to do my 7 miles this Sunday. If the weather holds out I am going to do 5 on the tm and then 2 outside. I will do the outside first so all I have to do is walk into the house as I am removing my coat and jump on the tm or that is the plan.

WDWFAN9 I noticed it was EMH and figured we could go for a while since we have AP's. I couldn't justify spending the money if I could get in free.

Was just at the ING Miami Marathon Weekend Expo.
Disney Lady said medal would look like a tiara and will have rhinestones on it. Still doesn't have an image as to what it looks like. I asked if it would have "Inagual" on it, because the first Coast to Coast medal did not. She said she didn't know and would ask, she was even on the phone when I walked away asking about it, but she didn't have the answer for me.

Anyone else wonder why we had to pick a Princess? I like them all and had a really hard time choosing... I wish Ariel had been an option... I ended up picking Belle, the SIL, picked Cinderella.

My name is Becky. I had posted a few times when this thread was initially created. Then I broke my foot.

I am now signed up for the 5k. I really wish I was doing the half, but since I broke my foot I did not plan on going at all. So I did not start training until recently. I found a great deal on airfare so decided I wanted to go anyways.

I think I am going to sign up for either the half or full for January. I know I must decide soon but am not sure which one I want to do.

I also think I would like to attend the pasta dinner on Saturday. Can I attend this even though I am not doing the half?

I think everyone who registers has to pick a princess. It is all geared toward women, kinda like the Minnie (the shirts will be a women's shirt)
Not sure what they are doing with the "picking a princess" thing. Maybe it will be on your bib or something. Don't see how they would make sure that everyone who picked a princess would get a specific medal for that princess. I whink it would cost them more to make 4 different kinds of medals. Plus when you talk to them at expos they just say "a" tiara looking medal.
