Well...I think I have good news from the unemployment office. Basically, this was just to get me into the system and certified as a dislocated worker, which means "unlikely to find employment in your previous industry." Garth looked on the state website and found 4 data entry jobs posted from now, going back 6 months. Seeing that, he did not hesitate to certify me as a dislocated worker.

I go next Wednesday at 2 p.m. for retraining orientation and to learn the next step(s)!

Anyone have a tetanus booster lately? I had a tetanus/diptheria/whatever shot on Tuesday (hadn't had one in 15 years)...how long is my shoulder going to be sore? It's not horrible, but it's certainly bugging me. I suppose being a side sleeper doesn't help either...

Dang, I guess they do. I just don't like it. What's weird, too, is that it's all hot and I can feel a slight raised area where the needle went in. Oh, well, at least it's done for 10 years and I'd have needed it anyway, to go back to school.
