hi everyone, has anyone visited the "world" in early may? how are the crowds and the weather? thanks in advance.

We were there last year May 13-18 and it was perfect. We waited no more than 20 minutes for any ride and the crowd were not bad at all. My only compliant was the heat. it was just a little too hot for me. We are use to going December or January. I would definitely go again in May though.

We went the first week of May this year and it was great. Crowds were thin until the first day of Cinderellabration, which was to be expected. Wether that week was good. It rained a couple of days, but really never got too hot. Low 70's to a high around 84 the hottest day. We are planning for the same week next year.

We were there Mother's Day weekend 2002 and it wasn't too crowded. It was pretty hot though-low to mid 90's.

Early May is my favorite time to go. It's hot enough to go swimming (temps usually in the 80s - we have hit 90 - but the humidity isn't suffocating), the crowds are manageable and if you use fast pass you'll be hard pressed to find wait times over 30 minutes.

We were there this past May....mid May actually...and the weather was perfect. Not too hot! I would go in May all the time....but, in 2006 we will be going in Sept. We got to swim and wore shorts and it only rained twice....the day we arrived and one other night. It was pretty crowded, though because the celebration had just started. But we had a great time!! And you will too!!!! ::MickeyMo

...this past year and it was darned near perfect. It was a little on the warm side. High 80s to low 90s but we had such a cold spring it was welcomed. It rained one evening when we were at Sea World. The longest wait time we had was for Dumbo with was about 20 mins. Every thing else was under ten. It seemed a little crowed, I guess due to the kick off of Cinderellabration. But it was our first time so maybe it was just normal.
