Boy, oh boy, I don't feel like going to work at all today My poor Katie is so sick with a bad cold, that I hate leaving her like that. She will be with my mom, so I know she will be in good hands, but I still hate to leave her.


I know this is a real generic way of doing this, but I haven't had time to send PM's to everyone individually. I want to send one big shout out to all my FD Wives friends that you have been frosted, hoed, and wished a happy unbirthday. The images are at the bottom of my siggie if any of you would like to incorporate them into your signature. Again, I'm sorry this is sorta impersonal, I just haven't had the time for individual PM's.

Kathy - That's good that you are getting used to working more hours I bet the extra money is nice too. I can hardly wait until I start making some money with real estate - we could use the extra money

Good Morning All! Happy Tuesday!

Sandy - I sure hope Katie is feeling better today!

A.J. is sick with a cold, also. I took him to the doctor last night. (I called at 10:30 yesterday morning and the earliest appointment that they had was 7:50 p.m.! ) He's got the cold thing going on, a sinus infection and a staph infection under his nose. (He always gets that when's he's got a bad cold. He calls it his "'stash." ) He has a doctor's note to stay home from school today so I get to stay home from work today. I can handle that - a pamper A.J. day!

I have lots of homework to catch up on for my on-line class so I'll have some time today to work on that!

How's everyone today?

Today I'm going into the real estate office, but only for a little while. I want to come home and be with my sick Katie. This is RSV season, and even though she can't get that anymore, she can still get terrible bronchitis that is stemmed from RSV. Since she had RSV twice in her life, and was horribly sick as a result of it, I'm very paranoid this time of year.

Kathy - I'm sorry to hear about A.J. Sending lots of PD for him to feel better soon

I am so sorry to hear A J and Katie are sick!! I am glad AJ got an appointment! Our office has been completely booked (until midnight) every day by about 9:30am or so! It has been so busy!! I can't believe how many sick kids there are! I would say enjoy your time home with them, but... sick is sick! I hope they both get to feeling better soon! I am sending PD to both homes!

Mom & I took James and Emily to see Happy Feet on Sunday. It was very cute! I want the soundtrack!

Have a good day! Be sure to wash your hands - alot!!! Sick kids are bad, but a sick mom is really bad!

I'm not surprised about your office being jammed with sick kids. My pediatrician is always jammed this time of year too

Thanks for the pixie dust and well wishes. Luckily, A.J. is not sick-sick. He's not too miserable, except for the itching of his "'stash!" I promise I'll wash my hands a lot - I do not want to get sick this close to the holidays!

The doctor (who is not our regular doctor 'cause naturally he was off yesterday ) said that he had seen 52 patients himself yesterday. Ours was the last office appointment and then he was heading to the hospital. I don't see how doctors do it!

Nice to know that you enjoyed Happy Feet. Andrew wants to see it.

We are trying to prepare around here for some pretty nasty weather. Rain, than sleet, than snow - I hate winter!!!! The news is making such a big deal about this storm - it'll be interesting to see how right they are.

Kathy - Katie is 50% better - thanks for asking I called her Pediatrician yesterday, and she started her on Zyrtec - so we'll see how that works

This is just a quick post so I can go get ready for Kevin and I to do our annual Christmas power shopping today - I love this day!!!!

slo - How's Katie today?? I hope she's all better by now. And how was your annual power shopping trip. Did you and Kevin have a nice day together?? And did you get most of your shopping done??

Idroveallnight - I can't imagine looking forward to an all day shopping trip this close to Christmas on a Saturday, even if it was with a friend.

I have to go to Walmart today with another woman from the FD and I'm dreading it. We have our annual Christmas party Tuesday night and she and I have to get gifts for the kids and the officers and then go to the department to decorate! The decorating I'm not dreading, only the Walmart part!
