Good rainy morning everyone!!! :umbrella:

My test yesterday went really well. It was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. The doctor also told me that I have a high tolarance for pain and that I was a very good patient

. So thanks everyone for all the thoughts and PD you sent me yesterday - I really appreciate it :grouphug: .

Idroveallnight -
You may just have to mentally go to your happy place!!
I did do this ::yes:: While I was getting all the shocks, I just kept going over my WDW itinerary and thinking about the trip - it did help keep my mind off things a little bit :thumbsup2

eeyoremountainpals -
I will know more after I talk to her this afternoon.
Did you talk to your DD yesterday? How is she doing?

Well, that's about it from me today. Have a good day everyone!!!

Good afternoon! We had a very busy morning so I couldn't DIS until now!
Emily's class had PACE challenge today. They scored a fifteen out of fifteen!! They were very cute. They took a Chinese fable and turned it into a play. They wrote the script, made the props, everything!!

James' class had a Mother's Day Tea! It was wonderful. James and 5 of his friends performed a Mother's Day rap! They were great! It was sad though, too. One of his classmates' mom died at Thanksgiving, so they dedicated the day to her!

slo - I'm glad your test wasn't too horrible!

eeyore - how is your DD???

Good morning everyone and TGIF!!!!!

You know what is a bummer?!?!
When you wake up wanting your coffee and you realize that you made it wrong last night :furious: I put the water in the coffee maker, but didn't put fresh coffee in the filter. When I poured my coffee, it looked like tea  So, I have a new pot of coffee brewing right now. So, I am not doing this :surfweb: currently.

Idroveallnight -What is a PACE challenge :confused3 ? Sounds neat - I'm glad Emily scored a 15 out of 15 :thumbsup2 The Mother's Day tea with James class sounds so nice - I went to a tea party with Katie's day care class about a month ago, and it was great!!

Today I am going to a Mother's Day program at Stephanie's school - Stephanie is very excited about this. I will have to let you know how it was :) . Then Stephanie is coming home with me, because she has a 1/2 day, and we are going to run errands and then come home and clean house - my house needs it soooooo bad!!!! Then we go to gymnastics and afterwards my in-laws are coming over for dinner to celebrate Mother's Day. It is going to be a very productive day today!!!!

Well, I gotta run - my coffee is finally done!!! :yay: Have a good day!!

slo - happy coffee!! PACE is a gifted program offered in the public schools here. James and Emily are both in it! (proud mom moment) Their topic this year was Asia. They go to a different class one day a week and study things as a small group. The 5th grade group had to take a Chinese folk tale and turn it into a play. Then they made the sets, put together costumes, everything! The challenge is that it is a student project. They did a great job. Emily was the Dragon Queen. We then went to another school and presented with the PACE groups from other schools. It isn't a competition - they all get awards and then an individual score/evaluation. It was fun!
I hope Stephanie does well! Have a great day!

Good, very wet, Saturday morning :umbrella:

Yesterday's Mother's Day program at Stephanie's school was very very cute - and I loved it :cloud9: Here's a couple of pictures from the program.

This is a booklet that Stephanie made for me (all the children made one for their mother). Inside she wrote that I am 32 years old (that's pretty close) and that I am 59lbs - that deserves a happy banana dance

This is a little picture frame that each child made their mom - to cute!!!!

Here's the two of us. Behind us are drawings that each child made of their mother. Can you find me???

Well, I gotta run and give the girls some breakfast. Have a good day!!!

Good Morning all! Just stopping by to say hi!

Glad everyone had a nice Mother's Day. I did too. Very laid back.

slo - Stephanie's school program sounds so cute. Oh how I miss those days when the kids were that age. - I know it was hard for you to not have your Grandma around on Mother's Day. You are so lucky to have been surrounded by so many other family members on Sunday.

Idroveallnight - I can't believe your trip is so close! I bet you are so excited!

Gotta run and get in the shower. Hope you all have a great day!

Good mornign everyone! Calgon - take me away!! We are so busy! All the kids have activities, Sarah's graduation is next week & we leave for Europe next week! I feel like my head is spinning! Pray for me!

Good morning everyone!!! :sunny:

Yesterday I had to take Katie to the doctor and found out she has tonsilitis. I can now add this to the list of the many illnesses that she has had in her little life. She actually is doing fine - she's not real sick. The doctor gave her some Zyrtec and an antibiotic and she will be on the mend :thumbsup2

Last night we did something fun - WE BOOKED OUR CRUISE!!!! :cool1: We are cruising on The Magic in October 2007 :sail: The girls will be the ages of 9 and 4, which I think will be perfect ages :thumbsup2

Kathy - I'm glad you had a nice Mother Day also :) When you get a chance, give us an update on how your DD is doing.

Karen - Sending lots of PD :wizard: to help you not get to stressed out :headache: I wish there was something I could do to help. Just think, in a week you will be flying to Paris - how exciting!!!! :cool1:

Well, I gotta run - have a good day everyone!!!

slo - I'm sorry Katie is sick! A cruise - WOW!! I would love to take the kids, but it's just so expensive! Are ya'll doing the land & sea or just cruising?
I am off work today, so I am going to get some errands run. Sarah got the suitcases down last night so we can start packing. I won't have another day off until the day Sarah graduates, so I have to get it all done today!! AAaaarrrrggghhh! It will all be OK, I know it will!

Happy Friday!!

Hi there!!! :wave2:

Did you get all your errands done yesterday?

We are not doing the land and sea cruise - we are just going to be on the water :) The price is very hefty :scared: :faint: But, with the cruise being a about a year and a half away, I'm hoping to save lots of money to pay for it by August 2007

Katie is doing better :thumbsup2 . After her sister came home, they played like there was never anything wrong with her :)

Today, I am going flower shopping and then working in the yard all day. It will be so nice to get this yard cleaned up and ready for summer :sunny:

Well, I gotta run - have a good day!!!

Finally decided to post here. My husband is a crash rescue firefighter at a National Guard Base and a callman in our town. It is like a volunteer but they get paid when they are called.

welcome LisaB!! I hope you post often!

slo - I got alot done yesterday, but there is still more!! I think a cruise would be wonderful!

Holy cow - I am tired and sore. I got alot done today :thumbsup2 I went to Home Depot and bought dirt and some plants. Then I went to a local farm that sells the best flowers around and I got 3 flats of flowers there
3.gif
. I then came home and planted 1 1/2 flats, took Steph to Gymnastics, came home and dug up 4 rose bushes (this is what made me the most sore - that was alot of work!!!) I am now in for the night.

Tomorrow, Stephanie has a 9am soccer game
16.gif
and then we are coming home and working more in the yard. I have more to plant and more the clean-up. It's alot of work, but it always feels so good when it's done!!! :teeth:

Welcome to our thread!!! Please come by often and visit - we would love to have you!!!

Idroveallnight - Have you started packing yet? I'm going to miss you while you are gone!!!

Well, I'm gonna get going. I probably won't be posting in the morning because I want to sleep in a little bit before Stephanie's game (it's sad to think that sleeping to 7am is sleeping in  ). Have a good night everyone!!!
