Okay we currently have a free dining bounce back with 7day park hoppers from 6/4-6/10. We have added on a room only at the same resort for 6/3. What we would like to do is upgrade to 8 day PH now and have access to our tickets on 6/3 and have park access for our entire stay. We are also planning on upgrading to AP's once we get there and would like to be able to use the photo pass option that comes with AP's for this trip. Also, I currently have our room only ressie (the day before package starts) linked to a separate MDE account than our package one so that we can have extra SDFP's (judge me if you will but until Disney closes this loophole I will absolutely use this as a planning tool). So here are my questions:

1. Can we upgrade to 8 day PH now and have access to those tickets the day we check in for our room only, without having to combine my 2 reservations and link them to the same MDE and essential lose the SDFP option?

2. If that is possible, after we use the tickets on the first day once can we still upgrade to AP and use the photo pass free download option that comes with the AP for this stay?

3. Will any of this early access and AP upgrade in any way effect our FP+ selections that will be linked to our package MB's by getting tickets early and doing the AP upgrade?

1. Pretty sure you can just change your ticket length online. I know I am able to make my ticket anywhere up to 10 days just by updating that part of my package.

2. I think so, but maybe someone else can answer for sure.

3. It should not change.

1. Yes. You can activate the ticket portion of Stay #2 when you arrive on the 3rd. You'll have to wait to book FPs for the 3rd.

2. Yes. When you begin your photo download, photos from the 3rd will be included.

3. FPs won't be affected at all by doing an upgrade.

So just to clarify if I add an extra day now to my second reservation to make it 8 day tickets, when we arrive on the 3rd they will activate the ticket portion of my 2nd reservation and we can go the parks a day early using the MB's with the tickets attached? I just want to make sure so we don't make plans to go to a park a day before that reservation starts and told we can't use our tickets a day early. Thank you for your responses guys

Yes. You can add on a day now and then activate that packaged ticket when you arrive on the 3rd. Tickets in a package can be activated up to 10 days prior to the package start date.
