Calling all experts

Thanks so much everyone. I'm going to contact Dreams unlimited and give it a shot. I've never had to use a TA but think it's really gonna be best. If you think of anything else let me know

I have used Dreamsunlimited for two of our trips. It can really be hit or miss in my experience.

Let me explain... our first trip we had a nice woman who helped me a great deal, I won't share her name because she isn't working with the travel agency anymore. She was really patient and great about getting back in touch with me with the questions I had.. I wouldn't say I had a ton of questions but, I did have several over a 5 month period.

However.. about 6 weeks before we were to leave she just stopped contacting me. I had emailed a question and I never heard back from her, which was odd. After a couple weeks of trying to get in touch with her I had to contact Dreamsunlimited and ask what happened and why she wasn't in touch with me.

Turns out she had just up and quit they told me because of "personal issues" and it had been several weeks since she had, and it didn't seem they were ever going to let me know she was gone. I had to contact them to find out my agent wasn't even working there anymore. They assigned us another agent and this woman seemed annoyed when I had questions. She would take days to email me back and when she did her answers were short and not helpful at all. It was like night and day between the two agents.
I don't know how they are paid, if its on commission and the first agent already received the commission so the second agent wasn't too thrilled to now have my vacation dumped in her lap? I don't know... it just seemed she didn't really want us as clients.

Anyway, we used them again on our second WDW vacation. I decided to try them again because I didn't want to mess around with making ADR's and they do that all for you. They were going to assign me the same agent who had replaced my first agent, on our first trip. I pretty much wrote back to the agency and told them I wasn't happy with the second agent and wanted someone new... they assigned me a woman who had been there for years and was super wonderful in every way. Of course by the second trip I didn't have all the annoying questions I had on the first trip but, I bet even if I would have she would have been really helpful and wonderful about it.

Just know it can be hit or miss with who they assign to your vacation. Don't be afraid to ask for another agent if you feel the agent is not giving you the respect and attention you need or desire.
