:lmao: Hello,

I am trying to plan our WDW adventure and need some advice. What does everyone think about the EMH both AM & PM. Are the worth it? I went in 2004 to MK e-ride night and it was great, but now that it is free I wasn't sure. Which park is worth planning to go and which isn't? We are going July 16-28. I was thinking AK in the AM would be good. Also Epcot in the PM seems pretty good too. I am trying to decide so I can make dining AR(is that what they are called?) We are getting so excited only 114 more days  :hourglass Thanks for help :p

We have found by experience that EMH allows us to get on rides with little or not wait (depends on time of year I am sure), and that the parks are less crowded at those times.
We have done an morning EMH and walked in the park past people who did not have KTTW and that felt great actually ! We went right to Soarin' that day and got on pretty fast. We did a couple of other things then went to another park that day.
We have done MK and EPCOT for pm EMH and felt like it made a big difference as well. I absolutely hate waiting in lines for a long time for a ride that takes 2 minutes to ride. So I enjoy the EMH when the crowds are lower. Having said all that, we haven't gone in the summer time in awhile, and will be there in JULY along with you ... we've set many of our ADR's for parks with EMH pm hours. Hope it works!!

I would do EE almost all the time in the summer to avoid the heat and sun and humidity as much as possible

Having said that we do not do EMH Mornings at AK anymore - the park just gets too crowded

Cheers

I do the EMH in the mornings, this past week we tried the evening ones and found it qas more crowded than any other time in the park. I would go to the am EMH but would not plan on another pm one except for eating, the rides are not worth the wait, although they might be if you plan on eating for the first hour or two and riding during the last hour (we didn't stay that late).

But I would only do AM EMH if you can hop to another park after 11 because the rest of the day the park seems to be more crowded.

We actually avoid EMH. Instead, we plan to be at rope drop the day after an evening EMH or the day after a special event like MNSSHP. The lines have practically no wait for a couple of hours and it's unbelievable the number of rides my children get to experience. We always arrive at the parks about 30 minutes before rope drop. Morning EMH is too early for my family and evening EMH is too late. Tired children are no fun. We've used this plan in July and October. It was a scheduling success both times.

We did all EMH's last Easter except late MK and they were all great. The only reason we missed the late MK was that it was 12-3 am - too late for a 7 and 10 year old. I don't think we waited for more than 15 minutes for any ride or show during EMH.

We were at WDW for easter week last year. Maybe not a great test case since MK had EMH every morning that week. Our experience was that the MK EMH mornings were great. The EMH morning at MGM was packed and the rest of the day at the park was unbearable. The EMH evening we went to at Epcot was packed and the lines were as long or longer than they were during the day. I wonder if the MK EMH morning would have been awful if it was just once during the week, too. In the future, I'll avoid EMH at really busy times but probably take advantage of it at other times.

We only did the MK EMH at night. It was VERY crowded. After an hour or two it cleared out quite a bit, but we kind of sat around waiting for it to die down because it was so busy.
