My daughter's boyfriend did the remix of "A little Less Conversation".
He did it for a Nike commercial but it became a huge hit and is on the new CD of Elvis's 30 greatest hits.
It's a great tune!

I was living in Memphis when he died. I was young and knew who he was and that he lived there, but that was about it. I was sunbathing by our pool out back when Rick Dees (then the local DJ) came on to say he had died. I though it was another one of his jokes!

I don't have a favorite song as such, but DH and I had our first dance at our wedding to "Can't Help Falling in Love" so I guess it ranks right on up there in my book!

And yes, I'm sad to report that he is, in fact, dead. My sister is a nurse and now works with some of the nurses and doctors who tended to him when he was brought to Baptist hospital.

My mom is a big Elvis fan so I grew up with his music. My favorite song is "Love Me". I don't care too much for his movies, but "Blue Hawaii" is the one I like the best. I was only 7 when he died but I remember being over my grandma's and she called my mom to tell her.
